Youth’s Body Found on Balangir Railway Track

Balangir: A gruesome discovery was made on Tuesday morning when the mutilated body of a young man was found on the railway track near Deogaon Railway Station in Balangir district.

The identity of the deceased remains unknown. According to reports, the victim’s head and neck were severed by a passing train. Bloodstains were also discovered at a nearby paddy stockyard, raising suspicions of foul play.

Locals believe the youth may have been killed at the paddy stockyard and later thrown onto the railway track to make it appear as an accident.

A large crowd has gathered at the site, demanding a thorough investigation. While Deogaon police have begun their probe, railway police are yet to arrive. The case remains under investigation.
