Youth thrashed to death at crusher in Jajpur
Jajpur: A youth has allegedly been thrashed to death in Jajpur district of Odisha yesterday night. The incident took place at a crusher in under Jajpur police station limits. The deceased youth has been identified as Arijit Nayak of Jarka area.
As per reports, the youth, who was working at a crusher was allegedly thrashed to death inhumanly yesterday night. Following the incident, he was rescued and rushed to the SCB Medical College and hospital in Cuttack. Yet, he succumbed to the injury there while undergoing treatment.
However, Police have informed that no complaint has so far been filed in this matter in the police station.
On the other hand, as photos of the barbaric and inhumane incident are circulating on social media, demands have been raised from various quarters for justified action against the culprit.
