Youth Attacked in Bhubaneswar; Two Detained

Bhubaneswar: Police have detained two suspects in connection with the kidnapping and brutal attack on a youth in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday, reportedly over a land dispute.

CCTV footage revealed the victim, identified as Santosh Panda, a real estate seller, being abducted by five men in a Bolero with its number plate concealed by black tape. He was later attacked near the Kuakhai river in Mancheswar Biramunda under Nandankanan police station limits, where his leg was severed, and he was shot.

Locals discovered the injured Panda and alerted authorities. He is currently undergoing treatment at Cuttack SCB Medical College and Hospital. Police continue to search for the remaining suspects as the investigation unfolds.
