Youth Arrested For Killing Girlfriend’s Brother

Berhampur,Dec 28: A youth has been arrested from Brahmanipali area of Ganjam district for allegedly killing his girlfriend’s brother here on Thursday, Police said.

According to the sources, Lingaraj Sethi, the accused, was in love with a girl from Gurunthi. However, the girl rejected his proposal. Following the rejection, the youth allegedly kidnapped the younger brother of the girl identified as Viku Sethi and killed him after slitting his throat and dumped his body inside the forest.

After the family members of the girl could not trace the 13-year old Viku, they lodged a complaint at the nearby police station and following the investigation police arrested the accused.
