Yellow warning issued for 11 districts today
Bhubaneswar: Heavy rainfall is expected in the state from 24th June. There may be heavy rainfall with lightning and thunder for the next 3 days. Winds will blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kmph with lightning and thunder in some places in North Odisha. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow warning for 11 districts today with lightning and thunder.
A yellow alert has been issued for 17 districts for tomorrow as well. But the amount of rainfall will increase from 24th and there will be rain in many places in the state.
Heavy rainfall is expected in some places in North Odisha. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow warning for 5 districts with heavy rainfall on 24th.
Meanwhile, heavy rainfall is likely in East and Central India. The Indian Meteorological Department has issued an alert for Jharkhand with heavy rainfall from tomorrow to 25th. There is also an alert for heavy rainfall in Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Sikkim and Bihar. A warning of heavy rainfall has been issued for various states of the country from today until the 27th June.
