World T20: India semi-final berth sealed, will play with aggression

Captain Harmanpreet Kaur said after the 52-run win over Ireland which sealed India’s semi-final spot: Happy to qualify into the semis, but a lot of areas to improve. To win the World T20,we need to be aggressive in the field. Same with the bowlers, so need to improve in those areas. Against  Austarlia we need to be aggressive if we want to win.

India have not played their best game so far, although they have stormed into the semi-final after winning against Pakistan and Ireland, after a stunning display in the opening match against New Zealand.

This is their first semi-final since 2010, so this a step forward.

Smriti Mandhana said: Want to dominate each and every match-that mindset won’t change. Aggression is Harmanpreet’s stylewith the bat, but it is also something that India need more of on the field.
