World Cup Hockey:Counters open for Ticket Sale
Bhubaneswar : Hockey India on Sunday announced that the physical sale of tickets begin at the Box Office at Kalinga Stadium and at 20 various outlets in for the twin-city for the Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup Bhubaneswar 2018 set to commence here from November 28 to December 16.
With less than a month to go for the prestigious tournament, organizers have decided to open the sale of tickets at various outlets, making it easier for the local public to book their spots to witness world-class hockey players vie to win the biggest hockey competition.
The general tickets for all matches of the quadrennial competition will be available around the city of Bhubaneswar and at the Box Office situated at Gate No. 9 of the Kalinga Stadium. The physical sale of tickets at the Box Office at Gate No. 9 and all the various outlets will only be available from 10.00hrs – 17.00hrs IST everyday.
The opening match of the Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup Bhubaneswar 2018 will see World No. 3 Belgium start their campaign against World No. 11 Canada. The host nation India will also be in action on the opening day as they face World No. 15 South Africa in the second match. World No. 5 Indian team is scheduled to play two more matches in Pool C, which will be against Belgium on 2nd December 2018 and Canada on 8th December 2018.
