Woman’s Body Found in Kathajodi River

Cuttack: The body of an unidentified woman was discovered floating in the Kathajodi River near Paramahans Kochilei under Kandarpur police station limits on Friday.

According to sources, the woman’s body bore injuries on her neck and face, raising suspicions of foul play. Nearby, investigators found a child’s dress, a mask, gloves, and a man’s shirt and trousers in the river, adding to the mystery.

Police have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death and the identities of those potentially involved. A scientific team has collected samples from the scene for analysis.
