Woman Found Hanging in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: A woman was found hanging inside her house at Chintamaniswar under Laxmisagar police limits in Odisha capital, this morning. The deceased was identified as JK Milan. She hailed from Banki area.

According to reports, she had availed a loan from a Self-Help Group and was struggling to repay the amount. She was under mental stress as the Self-Help Group members were pressurizing her to return the money. Shockingly, she was found hanging from the ceiling of her house with a saree.

Police have recovered the body and started an investigation into the incident. It is being suspected that she took the extreme step of ending her life by hanging herself as she was unable to repay the loan.
