West Bengal STF Team Arrives in Bhubaneswar to Investigate OTP Scam in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: In the recent OTP sharing case, where one individual was arrested and sent to Jharpada jail in Bhubaneswar, there has been a significant development.
The West Bengal Special Task Force (STF) team has arrived in Bhubaneswar to conduct further questioning of one of the accused.
The accused, identified as Pathani Samantha, is currently housed in Jharpada Jail. He will be taken on remand by the West Bengal STF team, who will obtain the necessary permission from the court to take him out of jail for interrogation.
Notably, Pathani will be directly questioned and confronted by another accused in the case, identified as Gudu Kumar from West Bengal.
Reliable reports suggest that Gudu allegedly sent military maps to Pakistan’s top military officer, Khurram Abdul Hamid.
The collaboration between the authorities from Odisha and West Bengal indicates a concerted effort to investigate and address the serious nature of the OTP sharing issue and its potential national security implications.
