Visually impaired woman raped in Jatsinghpur

Jagatsinghpur,Dec 24: A visually impaired woman was raped by a youth under Kujang police limits in Jagatsinghpur district.

The matter came to light after the victim’s family lodged a complaint with Kujang police today.

Incident occurred when the victim was asleep and accused suddenly entered into their house by jumping  boundary wall. Accused then gagged the victim with a piece of cloth and sexually assaulted her.

Hearing the screams of the victim, family members rushed to her help but he managed to escape later. Police filed a FIR regarding this matter.
