Vigilance launches DA search at 6 locations of Deputy Ranger Rama Chandra Nepak

Jeypore: Odisha Vigilance launched DA search at 6 locations of Rama Chandra Nayak, Deputy Ranger, Jeypore Forest Range in Koraput district today. As per reports so far Rs 3.5 lakhs have been unearthed in the ongoing search.

As per reports, today i.e on 25.07.2025, on the allegation of possession of disproportionate assets to the known sources of income by Rama Chandra Nepak, Deputy Ranger-cum-incharge Ranger, Jeypore Forest Range under Jeypore Forest Division in Koraput district, simultaneous house searches are being conducted by Odisha Vigilance.

The searches are being conducted by 6 DSsP, 5 Inspectors, 9 ASIs, and other supporting staff on the strength of search warrants issued by Special Judge, Vigilance, Jeypore at the following 6 places in Jeypore and Bhubaneswar.

  1. His building located on paternal land at NKT Road, PR Petta, Jeypore Town, Dist. Koraput.
  2. His Flat No. 510 at Golden Height Residential Apartment, PR Petta, Jeypore Town.
  3. His other Flat No. 511at Golden Height Residential Apartment, PR Petta, Jeypore Town.
  4. Flat of his brother at UMS Bhagabati Mansion, Raghunathpur Jali, Bhubaneswar.
  5. House of his in-law located at Sombar Tota, Jeypore Town.
  6. His office chamber at Jeypore Forest Range.
