Vice president addresses Indian Diaspora in France
The Indian Vice President, who is on a three day official visit to France, showered praises on the contribution and of the Diaspora to science, technology, agriculture , art, culture, governance and politics.
Naidu urged the Diaspora to help rebuild a new India and invited them invest in Indian. An estimated 110000 Indians including NRIs live in France.
It is noteworthy that over fifty Indian companies and organisations are working in France. Some of the major Indian companies and banks in France are Bank of India, Batliboi, Bharat Forge, Cadila pharmaceuticals, HCL technologies, Larsen and Toubro, Tech Mahindra and Wipro.
India is inching towards to becoming a USD 5 trillion economy by 2025 and despite global recession, maintaining a growth rate of about 8 percent which is remarkable, he said in his address.
