Van With 15 Kg Gold Detained in Baleswar

Baleswar: During vehicle checking at Laxmannath Toll Plaza on the West Bengal -Odisha border, a flying squad of the Commissionerate of CT & GST detained a van of a logistics service provider transporting around 15 Kg gold.

The van belonging to a logistics provider firm coming from West Bengal was loaded with around 15 kg of gold. The vehicle with the gold consignment was taken to the Jaleswar police station.

CT GST officials are checking up the documents accompanying the consignment. Further, investigation into the matter is underway.
