Two Men Found Dead After Suspected Clash in Bargarh Village

Bargarh: Tension gripped Baghpali village under Bheden police limits in Odisha’s Bargarh district after two bodies bearing injury marks were discovered inside a house on Friday.
The deceased have been identified as Magha Bhue (55), the owner of the house, and Tarani Bag (35). Their blood-stained bodies were recovered from inside the residence, raising suspicions of a violent confrontation.
Though the exact cause of the deaths remains uncertain, preliminary accounts from locals suggest a possible altercation between the two men. Some villagers allege that Tarani may have initiated the attack on Magha, following which Magha’s family members could have retaliated, leading to Tarani’s death. However, no official confirmation has been provided by the police regarding the sequence of events.
Sources revealed that Tarani, who had a criminal history and had been absconding for a long time, had recently returned to the village. He was known to frequent Magha’s house to consume liquor, as Magha was allegedly involved in the illegal liquor trade. It is suspected that a dispute during one such drinking session may have escalated fatally.
Bheden police have launched a thorough investigation, questioning villagers and family members to reconstruct the events. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination, and further details are awaited as the inquiry continues.
