Two Jawans Injured In Anti-Maoist Operation Airlifted To Bhubaneswar
Bhubaneswar/Bhawanipatna (Reporters Today Bureau): In the exchange of fire with Maoists, Two SOG Jawans suffered critical injuries that occurred in Uma timberland close to the Boudh-Kandhamal line today.
Odisha DGP Abhay cancels Koraput and Malkangiri’s visit and rushes urgently to Kandhamal after hearing the news. Later the two security personnel were later airlifted to Bhubaneswar by DGP.
According to the sources, On July 9 an operation was launched under Gochapada police station in Kandhamal district. During the search of the center region, Maoists opened aimless fire on the security powers this morning. Two commandos of SOG sustained bullet injuries.
Both of them were rescued with the help of CRPF brought to the street head from the operational region.
The condition of both the commandoes is stable now.
