Two Held with 120 Kg Ganja in Attabira

Bhubaneswar: In a major drug bust, Attabira Police on Sunday arrested two individuals and seized over 120 kilograms of ganja that was being smuggled to Chhattisgarh.

The accused have been identified as Bobby Khan of Uttar Pradesh and Sujit Sahoo from Larasara village under Dhama police station limits in Sambalpur district.

Acting on a tip-off, the police intercepted a vehicle near Attabira and recovered 120.67 kg of ganja hidden inside. Along with the contraband, officers seized an i20 car, two mobile phones, and Rs 4,200 in cash.

Both accused were taken into custody and later produced before court. A case has been registered under Attabira Police Station Case No. 182/25, and further investigation is in progress.
