Two Critical, In Bus-Truck Collision

Anugul, Dec 26 : More than 30 passengers have been injured after a bus collided with a truck on NH-149 near Gotamara under Banarpal police limits in the district of Anugul late Tuesday night.

According to the sources, around 60 passengers were travelling in the private bus from Thakurhat area in Kendrapara district to Rourkela for picnicking and visiting various tourist destinations in the steel city.

The incident occered when the bus collided with the truck coming from other side near Gotamara area in Anugul.

Sources said, more than 33 passengers were injured and the condition of the two were critical. “All the injured were administered first aid treatment. Later five of them were admitted to Anugul district headquarters hospital. The two will send to the Cuttack SCB, if the condition does not improve,” the Anugul ADMO said.
