Truck hits tree and crashes into shop in Balangir

Balangir: In a shocking incident, a truck ran over a shop on Monday night. The incident happened in the Palace line in Balangir on the National Highway 26.

According to information, the truck driver first hit a tree and then crashed into the shop. The truck was laden with aluminum. As a result the shop was completely ruined.

After the incident, the truck driver got panicked. He left the truck there and fled from the scene.

Fortunately, nobody was injured in the accident, as the shop was closed at that time.

Police reached the spot to investigate the matter. Police after preliminary investigation said that he must have been under the influence of alcohol.
