Truck Crushes Bike in Barang: 2 Killed

Cuttack: In a tragic incident, at least two youths were killed after a truck crushed their bike in Cuttack district of Odisha Thursday morning. The accident took place on the Godisahi-Mundali canal road under Barang police limits.

One of the deceased youths has been identified as Sameer Rout, a resident of Konmurga under Dhenkanal Sadar police station while the other deceased is yet to be identified.

As per reports, the incident took place early morning today when a truck crushed two youths who were going in a bike on the Godisahi Mundli Canal Road near Barang Police Station. As a result both the youths died on the spot only.

The truck, which was heading towards Mundali, fled the scene after the accident. After getting information, Godisahi police reached the spot and seized the bodies, which were then sent for post-mortem. Further investigation of the case is underway.
