Traffic Advisory for New Year in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack

Bhubaneswar: With the approach of the zero night celebrations and New Year 2025, the Commissionerate police have issued a traffic advisory for Cuttack and Bhubaneswar.

To ensure public safety, the police will conduct thorough checks and block key check posts, focusing particularly on preventing drunk driving and eve teasing. Strict action will be taken against individuals found driving under the influence, with offenders being detained if they disrupt traffic flow.

The police have also clarified that permission is required for hosting zero night parties at public venues. Both cities will be closely monitored via CCTV, and all police station inspectors have been given strict instructions to maintain order. Security forces will be deployed across the twin cities to ensure a smooth and safe celebration.

The measures aim to ensure a safe environment as citizens welcome the new year.
