Tigress Zeenat Traced in West Bengal

Similipal: Tigress Zeenat has turned nights, sleepless for the Forest department of Odisha and West Bengal. The tigress went missing from Purulia district and today she was traced in Bankura district, both in West Bengal. She was roaming in the Manbazar jungles of Puruliya when she disappeared on December 25.

According to information, she was traced from the Kangsabati forests of Bankura district after the combined efforts of Odisha and West Bengal. 15 teams have been set up to tranquilise and catch Tigress Zeenat.

The radio collar on the neck of Tigress Zeenat that gives a signal in every one hour stopped giving signals. Through this signal she was being traced. Due to some glitch, in sending signal, the radio collar installed on her neck sent only one signal on Monday night. After this no signal was received on December 25.
