Tigress Zeenat Returns to Similipal

Bhubaneswar: Tigress Zeenat is being translocated back to Similipal Tiger Reserve in Odisha following the intervention of the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA). The West Bengal Forest Department is overseeing the process.

According to official sources, a special team from West Bengal is transporting the three-year-old tigress from Alipore Zoo to Similipal in a dedicated vehicle. Zeenat is expected to arrive at the reserve by midnight.

The translocation marks a significant effort in wildlife conservation and ensuring the tigress returns to her natural habitat.
