Three Major Trains to Operate from Bhubaneswar New Station from May 12

Bhubaneswar:  In a significant move to decongest the existing Bhubaneswar Main Station and enhance operational efficiency, the terminal point for three prominent trains has been shifted to the newly developed Bhubaneswar New Station. The change will come into effect from May 11 and 12, 2025, for respective services.

According to East Coast Railway authorities, the trains affected by this change are:

1. 11020/11019 Konark Express (Bhubaneswar – CSMT Mumbai – Bhubaneswar)
2. 17015/17016 Visakha Express (Bhubaneswar – Secunderabad – Bhubaneswar)
3. 22819/22820 Inter City Express (Bhubaneswar – Visakhapatnam – Bhubaneswar)

Revised Train Operations

• 11019 Mumbai–Bhubaneswar Konark Express will terminate at Bhubaneswar New Station from May 11, 2025. After reaching Bhubaneswar Main at its usual schedule, it will depart at 23:55 hrs, reach Mancheswar at 00:02 hrs, and arrive at Bhubaneswar New Station at 00:20 hrs.
• 11020 Bhubaneswar–Mumbai Konark Express will depart from Bhubaneswar New Station at 14:40 hrs from May 12. It will halt at Mancheswar and Bhubaneswar Main before proceeding as per its regular schedule.
• 17016 Secunderabad–Bhubaneswar Visakha Express will terminate at Bhubaneswar New Station from May 11. It will depart Bhubaneswar Main at 16:00 hrs, halt at Mancheswar, and reach Bhubaneswar New at 16:25 hrs.
• 17015 Bhubaneswar–Secunderabad Visakha Express will start from Bhubaneswar New Station at 08:00 hrs from May 12. After halting at Mancheswar and Bhubaneswar Main, it will depart towards Secunderabad on schedule.
• 22820 Visakhapatnam–Bhubaneswar Inter City Express will terminate at Bhubaneswar New Station from May 12. Post arrival at Bhubaneswar Main, it will leave at 00:15 hrs, reach Mancheswar at 00:20 hrs, and terminate at Bhubaneswar New at 00:35 hrs.
• 22819 Bhubaneswar–Visakhapatnam Inter City Express will originate from Bhubaneswar New Station at 07:15 hrs from May 12. The train will stop at Mancheswar and Bhubaneswar Main before continuing as per the original schedule.

This adjustment aims to better utilize the infrastructure at Bhubaneswar New Station and improve punctuality and passenger convenience. Passengers are advised to check train details and plan their travel accordingly.
