Third terminal soon at Bhubaneswar Airport

Bhubaneswar, Dec 3: The Centre has decided to expand the Biju Patnaik International Airport in the Odisha capital with the construction of a third terminal in view of the increase in the number of air travellers.

Joint secretary, Civil Aviation, Usha Padhee said a decision to this effect has been taken after a meeting between the Odisha government and the Civil Aviation Ministry.

The construction work of the third terminal will begin from July next year at a projected cost of Rs 930 crore, Padhee said.
