Suspicious Bag Found at Bhubaneswar Airport After Threat

Bhubaneswar: Hours after Khalistani separatist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun issued a threatening audio message targeting Biju Pattnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar, a suspicious bag was discovered on the airport premises on Saturday. The bag, found in the trolley section, prompted authorities to engage a CISF dog squad for investigation.

Earlier in the day, Pannun had threatened to disrupt the ongoing DG-IGP conference in Bhubaneswar, issuing a warning in an audio message to a journalist.

In response, police further tightened security in the city, which is hosting the 59th DG-IGP conference from November 29 to December 1.
