Superintendent of Excise in Vigilance Snare

Bhubaneswar: Today Smt. Krishna Nayak, Supdt.of Excise, Dhenkanal has been arrested by Odisha Vigilance following interception by a team of Odisha Vigilance yesterday near Deulasahi Road, Dhenkanal while carrying unaccounted cash Rs.3 Lakhs. She will be forwarded to the Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Dhenkanal.

Soon after interception, simultaneous searches were conducted at 5 locations connected to Smt. Nayak and she was found to have possessed 2 multi storeyed buildings at Cuttack and Puri, 8 high value plots, 2 benami cars (under verification), deposits over Rs.20 Lakhs, etc.

In this connection, Odisha Vigilance has registered  Cell Division PS Case No 4/2025 U/s 13(2)r/w13(1)(b) P.C (Amendment) Act, 2018 against Smt. Krishna Nayak, Supdt.of Excise, Dhenkanal.
