Sundargarh: 3 Died in Road Accident

Sundargarh: As many as three people were killed in a fatal road accident in Sundargarh’s Marichimunda under Badagaon police limits early this morning.

Sources said, the deceased were returning to their homes after attending the Ram Navami Jatra in the said village. All the three were going in one bike when the rider lost balance and met with the fatal road accident in Sundargarh district. As a result all the three deceased died on the spot.

The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained. However, sources said all of them belong to the Biratula village. Police reached the spot and started an investigation into the matter.

In another incident last night, two people were killed while at least 10 others sustained severe burn injuries after the DJ in the Patua Jatra caught fire. The Disc Jockey (DJ) music system came in contact with the live wire and got charged resulting in the accident.
