Bhubaneswar (Surjit Kumar Dhal): India has around 5000 IAS officers. Bhupendra Singh Poonia is one of those 5000 jewels. 5000 IAS officers sounds a very small number to administer a large and populous country like India. To become an IAS officer is considered to be great achievement in India, it is a matter of great respect for the family to whom IAS officer belongs.

Our State is blessed to have galaxies of bureaucrats. The administration, management and all other things of Odisha are smoothly handled by the efficient IAS officers. Here we are discussing about a well-known and efficient officer Bhupendra Singh Poonia. He was posted in various positions and he performed well according to the Government’s decisions.  

Bhupendra (Odisha 2008) previously State Project Director-OPEPA with an additional charge of State Project Director RMSA Bhubaneswar and Chairman CHSE, has been recently transferred and posted as Managing Director, Industrial Promotion & Investment Corporation of Odisha (IPICOL) in place of Dr. Jawale Nitin Bhanudas IAS.
