Subhadra Yojana Payout Delayed
Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has postponed the disbursement of funds under the Subhadra Yojana, initially scheduled for December 25, 2024. Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida announced on Monday that the fourth phase of the first installment will be delayed due to incomplete beneficiary verification.
The Deputy CM emphasized that this is the final opportunity for beneficiaries to complete the necessary verification processes, including E-KYC and biometrics. “Beneficiary women who haven’t yet completed the verification must act immediately to ensure their eligibility,” she said.
Over 20 lakh women are set to receive funds in this phase, but approximately 5 lakh beneficiaries are facing delays due to pending biometric clearances. Parida also highlighted that applicants who entered the scheme through OTP registration are required to add their biometrics. This process can be completed at Mo Seva Kendras across the state.
The government has urged beneficiaries to resolve these issues promptly to avoid further delays. Beneficiaries can refer to official resources for detailed instructions on completing their verification process.
