Subhadra Yojana: Fourth Phase Released

Bhubaneswar: The fourth phase of Subhadra Yojana financial assistance was disbursed today from Jajpur, benefiting 18 lakh women across Odisha. Deputy Chief Minister and Women & Child Development Minister Pravati Parida had announced the release of funds on Saraswati Puja (February 2).

This marks the fourth phase of the first installment, with beneficiaries urged to resolve e-KYC and NPCI-related issues at their banks on February 3 and 4 to ensure smooth transactions. The Odisha government’s flagship scheme aims at women’s empowerment, providing direct financial aid.

With today’s disbursement, a total of 98 lakh women in Odisha have received benefits under the scheme. The government has also announced that the second installment will be distributed on March 8, International Women’s Day. Women who clear pending formalities before March 8 will receive their dues along with the second installment.
