State Government introduce Metro Rail Project 

On auspicious occasion Utkala Dibasa, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik introduce a Mega Metro Rail project between Puri and Bhubaneswar to make travelling easier for daily commuters and tourists.

The CM granted the Metro train project proposal connecting Bhubaneswar, Puri and Cuttack.

Odisha Chief Secretary along with development commissioner, 5T, transport and IT secretaries on Saturday conducted a high-level review to check the feasibility of metro train services on different routes.

According to the sources, in the first phase the Metro train service will begin from Bhubaneswar airport to Trisulia covering Bhubaneswar Railway Station, Vani Vihar, Jaydev Vihar, Patia, Nandankanan and Trisulia.
