Sri Sri University Ranks 3rd in India for Ayurveda Education

Cuttack: In a proud moment for Odisha, Sri Sri University has secured the third position in the prestigious Outlook-ICARE 2025 rankings of the top 20 Ayurveda educational institutions in India. It is the only institution from the state to feature in the top tier of this national list.
Scoring an impressive 935.57 out of 1000, the university earned high marks across five key parameters: academic and research excellence, industry interface and placement, infrastructure and facilities, governance and admissions, and diversity and outreach.
According to the rankings, the College of Ayurveda under Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune claimed the top spot, followed by Amrita University, Kollam in second place. Sri Sri University, based in Cuttack, secured the third position, ahead of AVS Ayurveda College, Vijayapura (Karnataka) and Datta Meghe Institute of Higher Education and Research, Wardha (Maharashtra), which stood fourth and fifth respectively.
This recognition places Sri Sri University among the most prominent Ayurveda institutions in the country. Dr. Pradeep Kumar Panda, Dean and Head of the Department, expressed his ambition to further elevate the university’s standing in the coming years. “Our aim is to reach the number one spot through consistent research and academic efforts,” he said.
Currently, the Sri Sri College of Ayurvedic Science and Research Hospital is collaborating with five institutions to conduct research across 14 subjects, with over 100 students enrolled. In 2023, the department published 53 research journals and hosted 104 academic programs. This number rose to 162 in 2024, with expectations for even greater growth in 2025.
University President Prof. Rajita Kulkarni, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Tejpartap, Director of Operations Swami Satyachaitanya, Executive Registrar Prof. Anil Kumar Sharma, Deputy Director of HR Jyotiranjan Gadnayak, and Deputy Director of Admissions Dr. Malay Mall congratulated the team on this significant achievement.
