SPO to Manage Unauthorized Parking in Smart City

Bhubaneswar (Adarsh Rout): The unauthorized parking in front of commercial buildings, malls and other areas were now become a headache for traffic personnel. Maximum traffic jams in the capital caused by unauthorized parking.  A high level meeting was tabled by the traffic DCP Sagarika Nath today.

The representatives of various commercial organizations were present at the meeting which was headed by the traffic DCP. After the meet, the Administration decided to appoint Special Police Officer (SPO) under the Urban Police Act 2013 to control the unauthorized parking in the smart city.

As many as 10 person from each organization to be appointed as SPO to manage the parking problem in front of malls, commercial buildings as well as for the smoothness of traffic system.
