Singhi Library: A boon for students
Singhi Library & Museum started delivery of its services to the students of this city with about 30,000 books from India and abroad. Established by Singhi Charitable Trust recently near Kalpana Square in Bhubaneswar, it will be a boon for students interested in higher education and research.
Governor of Odisha Shri Ganeshi Lal inaugurated the library on Sunday. The library has a huge collection of books on Science, Literature, Art, Culture, Sculpture, Political Science, History, Yoga, Biographies, Economics, Geography, Games and Sports, Education, medical science, Engineering, Agriculture, Law, Fashion, Tourism and Religion. The library is air-conditioned. Students can read books for free.
Trust Chairman also requested the Odisha Governor to provide a suitable land or a roadside government quarter so that the Singhi Charitable Trust can develop an advanced Library–Cum-Museum at its own cost for the service of the people of Odisha.
