Similipal to Implement Online Entry from Feb 1

Bhubaneswar: Starting February 1, tourists wishing to visit the Similipal Tiger Reserve in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district will be required to book their entry online. This new rule, announced by Prakash Chand Gogineni, Field Director of the Similipal Tiger Reserve, aims to streamline the visitor entry process and ensure transparency.

Previously, tourists could enter the reserve offline through the Pithabata and Kalikaprasad gates. However, under the new guidelines, visitors must now apply for permits online through the official websites www.similipal.org or www.ecotourodisha.com.

The move to an online booking system is intended to prevent irregularities in issuing permits, especially for private vehicles, and improve the overall experience for visitors.
