Selfie tragedy at Bhimkund

Keonjhar, Dec 29: A teenager fell into Bhimkund waterfall in Odisha’s Keonjhar district here on Friday evening, while taking selfie during a picnic and went missing.

The victim, a student of Sai Sikshya Junior college at Madhupatna in Cuttack, had gone to the tourist spot along with his friends for picnic. While clicking a selfie in his mobile phone near Bhimkund, the student slipped and got swept away in the waterfall.

On being informed, Fire personnel and ODRAF team reached the spot and started rescue operation. However, the student was yet to be traced.
