Security Guard Shoots Himself Dead in Capital

Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): A security guard allegedly shot himself dead under Airport Police Station area in the State Capital in wee hours today. The deceased has been identified as Krushna Chandra Dash. He was working as the Arm Guard at SiS Prosegur, a security agency, located at Ganganagar area in Smart city.

The police recovered the body and sent it to the Capital Hospital for post-mortem. According to reports, the security guard shot himself dead with his gun between 12.00 AM and 1.00 AM. Although, the reason behind the incident is yet obscure, the police suspect that the security guard might have committed suicide, source said.

The scientific team had reached the incident site for investigation. The family members of the deceased have been informed about the incident. Further details awaited.
