Security beefed up at Paradip Port

Paradip: Security has been beefed up at the Paradip port in Jagatsinghpur district of Odisha amid ongoing tension and war like situation between India and Pakistan. The port security has been elevated to level 2, informed Chairman of Paradip Port.

As per reports, Paradip port has been kept on high alert amid the tension situation. The port security has been elevated to level 2 while all the docked ships have been kept under strict surveillance.

The number of security personnel has been increased and strict patrolling is being done in the restricted areas of the port. Strict checking is being done at all the gates of the port. The checking s are being carried out by the CISF.

Worth noting that security has also been tightened in Puri Srimandira, Hirakud Dam, light house of Kendrapara and other tourist places of the State.
