Scientist Found Dead at Residence

Bhubaneswar: In a shocking incident a senior ILS scientist Sandip Mishra was found dead at his residence in Bhubaneswar, said reports on Sunday. According to reports, the Institute of life science (ILS) scientist Sandip Mishra was found dead in his own residence at Bhubaneswar. He was rushed to a private hospital where he was declared brought dead by the doctors there.

The body was then taken to the Capital Hospital for a postmortem to ascertain the time and the reason of death said reports. The reason of the death is yet to be ascertained. The police investigation is underway in this regard.

The scientist was known for his groundbreaking research in the field of Breast Cancer. His X handle says that  he was, a senior Scientist-F, Principal Investigator, Cancer Biology Lab, DBT- Institute of Life Sciences (GOI), BBSR, Associate Editor, BMC CANCER.
