School For Rural Students Named After Vajpayee

Mumbai, Dec 27: After the Central Government dedicated a special Rs100 coin to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee , Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fednavis on Tuesday has launched the ‘Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee International Schools’ for students in rural areas on the occasion of 94th birth anniversary of the late PM.
Initially, 13 Zilla Parishad (ZP) schools would be part of the International Board and it would be expanded in the coming years. The schools are affiliated to the Maharashtra International Education Board (MIEB), set up by the state government with an aim to achieve higher education standards. The curriculum of these schools will be in the mother tongue.The curriculum is not a copy-paste curriculum but drafted by a team of experts.
