Schedule for Snana Purnima to be Finalized Today

Puri: The Chhatisha Nijog meeting will be held today in Puri of Odisha to decide different upcoming rituals of Lord Jagannath and siblings at Srimandira, the famous Lord Jagannath temple. The meeting will be held at the Niladri Bhakta Nivas under the chairmanship of the Chief Administrator of the temple at 5 pm today evening.

As per reports, the schedule of the upcoming rituals starting from Rajendrabhisheka to Niladri Bije of the deities at the famous temple in Puri will be finalized today in this Chhatisha Nijog meeting. In this meeting, special attention will be paid to ensuring that no ritual is delayed.

In this meeting, decision will be taken on how to organize the Hati Besha as well as the ritualistic pouring of water on the deities on Snana Purnima. Similarly, the anabasara rituals, Shrigundicha Yatra, Suna Besha, Niladri Bije will also be discussed in the meeting.

The focus of the meeting is on the safety and orderly darshan of devotees during the Rath Yatra. Administrative officers including Chhatisha Nijog Mahanayak, Collector and SP will be present in this meeting.
