Sasmit’s RS Tenure Ends
Bhubaneswar (Surjit Kumar Dhal): Biju Janata Dal leader Sasmit Patra’s tenure in Upper House of Parliament came to an end. He was sent to Rajya Sabha for three years. He was appointed as the chief whip and Party spokesperson of BJD. He was also in the chairman panel of Rajya Sabha.
After the completion of his tenure at Rajya Sabha, All BJD MPs met Sasmit and gave farewell at Biju Janata Dal’s Parliamentary office of Sansad Bhawan, New Delhi. Sasmit thanked all his colleagues, BJD boss Naveen Patnaik and the people of Odisha for giving him this opportunity.
