Sambalpur Zoo Takes Major Precautions Amid Heatwave

Sambalpur: As Odisha grapples with a relentless heatwave, the Sambalpur Zoo authorities have implemented special measures to safeguard the animals from the blistering summer conditions.

The zoo has introduced various provisions, including air coolers, sprinklers, and additional fruit offerings, to alleviate the distress caused by the scorching temperatures.

Specifically tailored arrangements have been set up for different species. Water sprinklers and coolers have been installed in the enclosures of the animals to provide them relief. Furthermore, the animals have been offered ice water to aid in cooling during bathing sessions.

These measures aim to mitigate the adverse effects of the heatwave and ensure the well-being of the zoo’s inhabitants during this challenging period.
