Rs 2 crore financial aid for family of stampede victim
Actor Allu Arjun and the production team behind the film Pushpa today announced a financial aid of Rs 2 crore for the family of a woman who tragically lost her life in a stampede during a screening of the film on December 4. In a show of support, Allu Arjun’s father, veteran producer Allu Aravind, along with prominent producer Dil Raju and others, visited a private hospital where an injured boy from the incident is currently receiving treatment.
Allu Aravind expressed his relief after speaking with the medical staff, who reported that the boy is recovering and is now able to breathe independently. The doctors remain optimistic about his full recovery. Additionally, Dil Raju, chairman of the Telangana State Film Development Corporation (FDC), announced that a group of film industry representatives will meet with Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Thursday to promote positive relations between the government and the film sector.
