Rourkela: 2 Criminals Nabbed in Police Encounter

Rourkela: In a big success, Rourkela Police yesterday night nabbed two dreaded criminal following exchange of fire. The two criminals sustained bullet injury during the police encounter and hospitalized. The incident took place in Jareikela area under Bisra Police Station limits in Sundergarh district.

As per reports, yesterday night, two dreaded criminals attacked the owner of a Dhaba in Jareikela. They opened fire at the Dhaba owner when Police reached the spot. After seeing police the two criminals fled from the scene and to nab them police chased them.

During the pursuit the criminals opened fire at Police. Hence, police also retaliated for self-defense. In this exchange of fire the two dreaded criminals sustained bullet injury in their legs. They have been admitted to Rourkela Government hospital for treatment.
