Roopa Mishra’s Tenure Extended

Bhubaneswar: The tenure of IAS officer Roopa Mishra on central deputation has been extended for an additional year, according to reports on Saturday.

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal from the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs to extend Mishra’s tenure as Joint Secretary in the ministry. The extension will continue beyond February 2, 2025, or until further orders, whichever comes first.

Roopa Mishra, an IAS officer from the 2004 batch of Odisha cadre, will continue her role in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs following this extension.
