Rayagada: 3 die in bike accident

Rayagada: In a tragic incident at least 3 youths died in a fatal road accident in Rayagada district of Odisha yesterday night. The accident took place on the Banshadhara River Bridge under Gumuda Police outpost limits.

The deceased youths have been identified as Bulu Shabar and Subrata Shabar of Kaithpadar village under Gunpur Block and Maulkrushna Arka of Jagannathpur village.

As per reports, the three youths were going in a bike to see the Thakurani Yatra in Karini village yesterday night when they met with an accident.

Following the accident it was found that two of them died on the spot. The third critically injured youth was rescued from the spot and rushed to Gunupur hospital, where he died during treatment, police said.

Two dead bodies have been kept at the Padmapur hospital while another body is at the Gunpur hospital.

Police have started investigation of the case.
