Ratna Bhandar Opening Gets SJTA Nod

Puri: The ancient treasure controversy of the Living Trinity, is going to be resolved soon. The proposal of the Ratna Bhandar Inventory Committee has got the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration’s (SJTA) nod, to open the ‘Ratna Bhandar’ on July 14.

After due perusal, the SJTA authorities have sent the proposal to the government, to accord other legal clearance to tender permission regarding opening of the ‘Ratna Bhandar’.

SJTA chief administrator Vir Vikram Yadav said that the Shree Jagannath Temple Managing Committee has approved the proposal of the 16-member high-level committee headed by Justice Biswanath Rath, which was sent to the government. The date, time and the SOPs relating to the inventory and safe storage of the gems and jewels during the procedure,are at the disposal of the state, Yadav added.
