Rape victim  succumbs to death in Koraput

Koraput,21/12/18: A mother and rape survivor from Siatimala village died after  battling death for last 15 days, Thursday night. Later  admitted to Saheed Laxman Nayak hospital in a critical condition.

The incident occurred by two miscreants when she was alone at home on December 5.Sad part is  the deceased  had two kids and meanwhile, the future of the two kids of the lies in uncertainty as her husband is mentally unstable

 “After completion of all the formalities, the kids will be handed over to the Child Welfare Committee (CWC),” said Koraput CWC official, Rajashree Das.

Moreover, the district administration has reportedly provided an assistance of Rs 10,000 from the Red Cross fund to perform the last rites of the deceased.
